Wedding DIY Series: Bridesmaids Thank You Gift Boxes

When I first got engaged, I didn’t do a really elaborate “Bridesmaid Ask” gift. My friends and I are mostly laid back and low key, so when I told them the good news, it was automatically known that they would be in the wedding.

However, I did want to do something special for them as a thank you for being by my side. I decided on memory gift boxes with personalized gifts for each bridesmaid. I stopped by Michael’s (of course) and lucky for me their memory boxes were 60% off. That was a miracle! lol I bought 8 of the medium sized ones that were originally $8.99. With the sale, they came to about $3.50 each. Steal! I also happened to find some cute notebooks with a letter. So I got one for each according to her first name. Here’s what I created:

This is what they looked like side by side. The picture is dark because I assembled them the morning of the wedding around 1:00am. Yes, I was up lol But because I love you guys, I recreated the box with the pictures below.

Tissue paper I bought from Amazon*
Monogrammed Notebook from Michael’s – $1.50 in sale bin
Relax Sleeping Face Mask from Michael’s – $1.50 in sale bin
Thank You Card from Michael’s (they matched the detail on the notebooks) – $1.50 for a pack of 6 in sale bin
Love Gold Thank You Frame – tutorial here
Tissue – $1 for a pack of 8 from the Dollar Store
Monogrammed Compact Mirror from Miles Kimball – $12.99 each – most affordable I could find that were still pretty

What are you planning to do for a thank you gift for your wedding party?
